Job Description

Verizon, a global leader in technology and communications services, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Base Strategy & Analytics Senior Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to maximize customer retention and drive portfolio growth within the prepaid base segment.


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for retaining and growing the prepaid base portfolio.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align goals and ensure a customer-centric approach.
  • Lead a team of analysts to generate actionable insights from customer and transactional data.
  • Utilize statistical models and predictive analytics to identify growth opportunities and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Enhance customer retention through personalized campaigns and targeted offers.
  • Monitor performance of retention initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain portfolio performance dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and initiatives.
  • Partner with customer service and operations teams to improve processes based on analytics insights.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of the prepaid mobile telecommunications industry is a plus.
