Job Brief:

  • The Senior Program Specialist supports the Political Transitions project, providing programmatic and administrative assistance in USIP’s Washington D.C. office.
  • Works closely with the Program Manager and local partners, coordinating activities, maintaining relationships, and assisting in project planning and reporting.
  • Part-time position open to US citizens and legal residents.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Coordinates project activities, maintains stakeholder relationships, contributes to planning and reporting, provides translation and interpretation support.
  • Reporting and M&E: Assists in drafting project reports and designing monitoring and evaluation tools.
  • Admin and Logistical Support: Provides technical and administrative assistance to implementing partners, manages logistical requirements, and ensures compliance with USIP policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience.
  • Knowledge of Guinean political dynamics preferred.
  • Strong time management, analytic, and writing skills required.
  • Proficiency in French and English.
