Job Summary:

The Digital Communications Officer, Global Partnerships, plays a vital role in the Digital Engagement and Global Partnerships Communications teams, under Marketing & Mobilization. This position executes a digital content strategy to support IRC’s high-value fundraising teams, emphasizing digital storytelling to elevate IRC’s visibility and position it as a preferred nonprofit for high-value partners.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Execute digital strategies for website and social media to support high-value partnerships, including corporate and foundations, enhancing IRC’s visibility and appeal.
  • Collaborate with global Digital Engagement team to ensure partnership content aligns with broader strategies, follows best practices, and meets quality standards.
  • Produce partnership content for the website, including overviews, client stories, and web pieces, and manage digital projects from start to finish.
  • Monitor and report on digital performance, leveraging data to inform partnership engagement strategy.
  • Manage partnerships pages on the website, proactively driving creative storytelling ideas and staying updated on digital trends.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of digital-focused communications experience in private or NGO sectors.
  • Strong writing skills and project management abilities are essential.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics for a non-expert audience and independently produce website content.
  • Understanding of digital landscape, SEO strategies, and audience engagement tactics.
  • Experience managing projects and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and willingness to work on East Coast, United States hours.
