Job Overview:

IBTCI seeks a Junior Program Analyst/Admin Assistant to support USAID/LAC FO in Washington DC. The role involves program and administrative support functions, including research, drafting written products, coordinating administrative tasks, and providing travel support.


Representative Program Functions:

  • Support development, planning, and implementation of U.S. government initiatives.
  • Contribute to research projects and draft written products.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a digital knowledge management system.
  • Perform other program functions as assigned.

Representative Administrative Functions:

  • Compile and prepare briefing materials and coordinate document reviews.
  • Provide administrative support and correspondence control.
  • Arrange travel preparations and accompany Bureau leaders on overseas and domestic travel.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.


  • 2-3 years providing administrative assistance or program management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a field related to international development.
  • Familiarity with Google and Microsoft suite of applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Graphic design, presentation, and editorial experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or French preferred.

Working Environment:

Work is typically performed in an office environment, currently allowing for remote work due to COVID-19.
