Summary
Save the Children seeks a Lead Associate, Education for its U.S. Programs division, focusing on improving educational outcomes for children in rural America. This role involves program implementation, partner management, advocacy, and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Program Implementation (55%): Ensure quality implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of education programs. Provide training, technical assistance, and oversight at partner sites.
- Partner Operations and Management (20%): Support partner management, including planning, budgeting, performance management, and incident reporting.
- Local and State Relationships/Advocacy (10%): Engage in community partnerships, advocacy activities, and program presentations.
- Continuous Improvement (15%): Participate in organizational meetings, trainings, and projects to enhance program effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, with 3 years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
- Ability to travel within the state up to 30% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Spanish language.
- Experience in financial and subgrant management.
Compensation
