Via Carota
Someone shouted out the well-respected NYC restaurant, Via Carota, stating they had never regretted waiting a couple of hours to get in. Depending on when you show up, you may have to wait in two lines: the line to put your name down and the “line” or wait to get a seat.
Shakespeare in the Park
This free event is worth waiting for if you’re a fan of live performances and Shakespeare plays. Many people mentioned it’s worth waiting, especially if you plan to explore Central Park. One person suggested checking out the shorter lines at the borough distribution site.
The Met
Can’t wait to visit The Met, but aren’t sure if it’s worth the wait? According to hundreds of comments, it’s worth it! There were also suggestions given by NYC natives about how to shorten your wait.
One suggested that there won’t be a long line if you manage to visit during “off hours,” and another said the handicap-accessible entrance has a shorter line.
Broadway or Theatre Rushes
Some shows are challenging to get tickets to, so they offer lottery or rush opportunities. Rush tickets are delivered the day of a performance, usually shortly before it begins, for an otherwise sold-out show.

A surprising number of people said it was worth the trek and the wait to eat at the Times Square location of Los Tacos #1. Someone went as far as to say they would plan their lunch break around the line, calling this restaurant the “best Mexican [food] in NYC by far.” Another comment said the line may be long but moves quickly and is worth it.
Birria-Landia
Although it’s been said that the location in Jackson Heights is organized and efficient, try to get to Barria-Landia close to when they open to avoid a long line. Ice Skating in Central Park
